With Easter right around the corner, I wanted to share some of my personal favorite things to do and eat in Los Angeles during this time of year.
First up on my list is the Easter Brunch at The Beverly Hills Hotel. This iconic hotel offers a delicious and decadent brunch that’s perfect for celebrating the holiday in style. They have everything from classic breakfast dishes to fresh seafood, and the ambiance is unbeatable. I went with some friends last year and we had a great time indulging in all the tasty treats and taking in the glamorous surroundings.
Another fun activity to do during Easter is to attend an egg hunt. There are plenty of options throughout the city, including the Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Celebration at the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden. This event offers a variety of activities for all ages, including crafts, games, and of course, an egg hunt. My friends and I went a few years ago and it was a blast – we even got to meet the Easter Bunny!
When it comes to Easter treats, I highly recommend checking out Milk Jar Cookies. This bakery offers a variety of festive cookies and treats, including their signature “Easter Basket” cookie, which is a sugar cookie filled with mini chocolate eggs. They also have hot cross buns and other seasonal treats that are perfect for enjoying with friends or family.
If you’re looking for a more low-key activity, why not take a stroll through the beautiful spring blooms at the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden? This 127-acre garden is home to a wide variety of plants and flowers, and is especially beautiful during the springtime. My friends and I love to pack a picnic and spend the afternoon taking in the gorgeous scenery.
Last but not least, if you’re in the mood for some Easter-themed cocktails, head to The Bungalow in Santa Monica. This beachside bar offers a fun and festive Easter cocktail menu, including the “Peter Cottontail,” which is made with gin, grapefruit, and elderflower. It’s the perfect way to toast to the holiday with friends.
There you have it – some of my personal favorite things to do and eat during Easter in Los Angeles. Whether you’re enjoying a decadent brunch, participating in an egg hunt, or simply taking in the beautiful spring scenery, there’s something for everyone in this vibrant city. Happy Easter!
