Beach, a space between the land and a big Sea, is always an exciting spot of all ages. As a wanderer, am not an exceptional human being to avoid it. I am a boy who has visited the beach at least twice a month from childhood, during summers. I remember as a kid, whenever I was bored, I have insisted my parents to take me to the beach, they never said no, because they too love it. I feel nostalgic about my childhood about building sandcastles, catching crabs along the shore, writing the names and waiting until it vanished by the tides, gliding kites, Grilling fish, corn, and meat and eating it along with the family and friends, and so on.
As a boy of California, unlike the other state people, I could access different types of beaches. There are beaches where it is not allowed for beachcombing, yet I go and watch the tides kissing the shore and moving back to where it belongs. These are my favorite beaches and my memories along with it.
Black Sand Beach
Black Sand Beach is a beach present in southern Humboldt County at the north end of Shelter cove, where the sand in the shore is black in some area and mostly black in this area, and the reason behind is still unknown. There are beaches which are not accessible easily from the road in California; one easiest among all is the Black sand beach. There are some trails suitable for a short hike and helps to enjoy a panoramic view of the black sand beach. The Trail is from Shelter Cove to Big Flat Beach, which is known as the Lost Coast Trail.
Carmel River Beach
Carmel River Beach is in California. This beach excites me from my childhood. The shore has rocks and sands, which is nice to climb over it, watch the sea, and play.
Carmel River Beach has a pine valley, Beach lagoon as a Bird sanctuary where the Carmel River connects to the sea. There is a Trail from Carmel village that allows for hiking. It ends with a viewpoint where a fantastic view of the Carmel River from the top is possible. I took the trial path three years ago. I am not sure if still, the Trail is available since I heard the news about a landslide in the place.
17 Mile Drive Pebble Beach
It is a popular drive that lets access to the different types of beaches in California. I chose to visit the beach to say good night for the sun, I meant watching Sunset. I figured out later that there are so many good spots and trails along several beaches that one should not miss. The next time I spent a day on this road accessing every beach, and I loved all of it. The shore has pebbles mostly a total stretch of 17 miles.
Asimolar State Beach
It is a beach meant to watch Sunset. I expected to sit on the shore and stretch my legs and watch the Sunset, but the sandy shores are less and more rocks and coves were present. I remember watching the sunset beautifully in front of my eyes, sitting on the rock and waves splashing a drizzle of seawater over me.
Moss Beach
Moss Beach is a pleasant walking beach on the coast of 17 miles drives at pebble drive. Watching the sea from Point Joe is a pleasant experience. A rocky area is the end of the Moss beach, and at the other end of the rocky area is the Spanish Bay Beach. The Moss Beach and Spanish bay beach has a golf course at the opposite of the beach.
Seal Rock Beach
Quite often a seal can be seen in this area. I love watching crabs, seal, and birds along the sea. These beaches never fail to lit a smile on my face. Seal Rock Beach is a white sand beach with a picnic area.
Bird Rock Beach
Bird Rock Beach and Seal Rock Beach are present nearby. There are spots to watch the bird. By visiting this place in the early morning, so many varieties of birds can be seen. But I had no chance to visit in the early morning.
Still water cove beach
A still water beach is an ideal place for sunbath. I once had a chance to go for Kayaking on the beach. The waves are less here. It is a white sand beach, where scuba diving is also possible. Pre-booking is required.
Glass Beach
Glass Beach in Fort Bragg, Northern California has so many glass pebbles on the shore. Unlike the pebble beach, the Glass beach is the result of human dumping bottles along the Shore. The seawater corrodes it slowly and diminishes the bottle little by little, and it turns into a glass pebble. I always remember and tell my friends about this place, that how humans are deceiving nature, and still, nature turns it into a beauty.
Pfeiffer Beach, Big Sur
Pfeiffer Beach in the Big Sur drive is a must watch beach during sunset. There is a natural arch-like structure in the big rock, where the sun rays fall during the sunset and suitable to take a nice click on the camera.
During the rainy season, the Pfeiffer beach shows up purple sands along the shore.
Sanibel Island
A unique beach in Florida is popular for shell deposits on the shore. This Beach was on my bucket list before visiting Florida. I was able to spend some time playing with shells over there.
Sea is a wonder that nature has. It never fails to amaze any human being; it is waste and yet remains calm. Humans are the ones spoiling it with plastic dumps. Let us avoid it and respect the oceans. If it turns against us, we have no other choice than drowning.
